Ingredients:
1 Package Frozen Broccoli Flowerets
1 Cup Diced Onion
3 Tablespoons Butter
1/2 Cup Flour
3 Cups Chicken Broth
1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
2-3 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 Pint Half and Half
Directions:
Saute Onion with Butter in large cooking pot. Add Flour and mix to make a thick paste. Stir in Chicken Broth. Add all remaining ingredients. If soup is too thick add milk to get desired consistency, if it's too thin add 1/2 cup milk mixed with 1/4 cup flour until desired consistency. Simmer until Broccoli is tender. Serve hot with rolls or in Bread Bowls.
