What's For Dinner? The most dreaded question asked around here!

I will be putting all these recipes plus photos in my own cookbook made on www.heritagemakers.com/LaCee I'm excited to have a family cookbook around here to flip through quickly for dinner ideas! I'll post as often as my crazy, busy life will allow.

Share some love! Let me know what you thought of the recipe if you tried it! Don't hold back, it won't hurt my feelings! It'll only help others who read this blog :).

White Blonde Brownies

After looking at a few other cooking blogs and such I've realized I need a lesson in taking photos of food! So, hopefully I'll get a chance in the near future to take better photos of what I cook, lol!

2 cups Flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
3/4 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 1/4 sticks Unsalted Butter (10 TBSP)
2 cups Packed Golden Brown Sugar
2 Large Eggs
2 Teaspoons Vanilla
3/4 cup Chocolate Chips (Milk, Semi-Sweet or White Chocolate all work great)
3/4 cup Chopped Pecans (Optional)

Sift Flour into a bowl. Mix Flour, Baking Soda, Salt and Baking Powder, set aside. Melt Butter in mixing bowl, add Brown Sugar, mixing well. Add eggs and Vanilla mixing well. Add flour slowly, blending. Batter will be thick! Spread in buttered and floured 9x13 baking pan. Sprinkle Chocolate Chips and Pecans over top. Bake 350 degrees 25-30 minutes.
