What's For Dinner? The most dreaded question asked around here!

I will be putting all these recipes plus photos in my own cookbook made on www.heritagemakers.com/LaCee I'm excited to have a family cookbook around here to flip through quickly for dinner ideas! I'll post as often as my crazy, busy life will allow.

Share some love! Let me know what you thought of the recipe if you tried it! Don't hold back, it won't hurt my feelings! It'll only help others who read this blog :).

Corn Hash on Tortillas

This one has been a family favorite since I was a kid at home. Very simple and tastey :).

1 lb Ground Beef, thawed and
1 Can Sweet Corn
Tortilla Shells^^^

Brown the Ground Beef (we usually season this a little with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion salt or dried onions), drain excess grease. Add Corn and heat until warm. Dish onto warm tortilla shells and add any extra fixings you like (suggestions below).

Extra Fixings:
Grated Cheese
Salsa
Sour Cream
Avacado
Be creative, add whatever you like!

^^^Home made tortilla shells are the best with this, though purchasing some from the store isn't bad either :). Here's a Tortilla recipe I like to use:

2 Cups Flour
1 TBSP Oil
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Powder

Add water until a soft dough forms (this only takes a very small amount of water so be conservative while adding!!!)

Pull dough apart into small balls, roll each ball out until very thin, lightly brown in a dry frying pan.
