What's For Dinner? The most dreaded question asked around here!

I will be putting all these recipes plus photos in my own cookbook made on www.heritagemakers.com/LaCee I'm excited to have a family cookbook around here to flip through quickly for dinner ideas! I'll post as often as my crazy, busy life will allow.

Share some love! Let me know what you thought of the recipe if you tried it! Don't hold back, it won't hurt my feelings! It'll only help others who read this blog :).

Preparations Update...

So far so good getting ready for Baby to arrive! I am down to about 4 pre-prepared dishes that need to be put together and frozen. I have gotten a little behind in the bread making department though :o(, not much time to bake around here! I have about 12 or so loaves baked and frozen, but we go through about 2 a week sometimes so I'm having a hard time keeping up, lol!

I have learned a few new techniques to the Easy White Bread recipe I posted a few posts back and I have been working on perfecting my bread making skills the past few weeks:

I follow the recipe as it says. My new techniques include:

After rising dough in large bowl, punching down and rising again I divide it into 4 equal parts. Each part I knead as much of the air bubbles out of and then roll the dough out into a rectangle, quite thin, to get more air bubbles out. Fold the rectangle of dough into 3rds the long way and then roll the dough in cinnamon roll fashion, place dough roll into bread pan and raise and bake as directed in the recipe. This has helped me to make some pretty great bread! Also, some (or most) of you may already know this but brushing melted butter over the top of the dough during rising helps it to stay moist and rise better...I did not think of this until a few crappy bread making attempts, lol, but it does work great for those of you who haven't tried it.

The above techniques I begged off of my Mom-in-law, lol, she makes some awesome homemade bread :o).
